The BEKOMAT 20 FM is an electronically level-controlled condensate drain for compressed air systems with integrated filter monitoring. It reliably removes condensate without unnecessary compressed air loss and at the same time monitors the condition and operating time of the connected filter element. The device is suitable for compressed air filters and other condensate drains in compressed air systems. The device is suitable for condensate from both oil-lubricated and oil-free compressor systems.
Installation and use
The BEKOMAT 20 FM is installed where condensation water is formed, such as in a compressed air filter. The condensate must be able to flow freely to the water trap without water pockets or rises in the inlet pipe.
The device operates automatically according to the level. A capacitive sensor detects accumulated condensate and controls the drain valve so that the condensate is removed without unnecessary loss of compressed air. The TEST button can be used to check the operation of the drain valve.
The correct installation position, operating pressure and the dimensioning of the inlet and outlet piping must be taken into account during installation. Installation and commissioning are carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's operating instructions.
Note: The condensate drain pipe must not be routed in such a way that back pressure is created in the drain. Oily condensate must be treated in accordance with applicable environmental requirements.
Service and maintenance
The BEKOMAT 20 FM is designed to require minimal maintenance. It is recommended to check the operation of the device and the unobstructed drainage of condensate regularly, and the operation can be tested using the TEST button. During maintenance, the connections, the drain pipe and any impurities are also checked.
Maintenance and repair work is carried out on unpressurized and de-energized equipment in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
Warranty
The manufacturer's warranty is 24 months. The warranty covers material and manufacturing defects and requires proper installation, use and maintenance of the product in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
