The BEKOMAT 31U is an electronically level-controlled condensate drain for compressed air systems. A capacitive sensor monitors the level of the condensate and automatically drains the condensate without unnecessary loss of compressed air. The BEKOMAT 31U is suitable for the drainage of condensate from compressors, refrigeration dryers, filters, water separators and other compressed air systems. The device is suitable for the drainage of both oily and oil-free condensate.
Installation and use
The BEKOMAT 31U is installed at the point where condensation water is formed, such as a compressor, compressed air filter, water separator or dryer condensate drain. The condensate must be able to flow freely to the drain. The device operates automatically according to the level. A capacitive sensor detects the accumulated condensation water and controls the pilot valve, whereby the condensation water is removed without unnecessary loss of compressed air. The function of the drain valve can be checked with the TEST button. The correct installation position, operating pressure and the dimensioning of the inlet and outlet piping must be taken into account during installation. Installation and commissioning are carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's operating instructions. Note. No harmful back pressure must be created in the condensate drain pipe. Oil-containing condensation water must be handled in accordance with applicable environmental requirements.
Service and maintenance
The BEKOMAT 31U is designed for fast and cost-effective maintenance. The electronic control and sensor unit remains in place during maintenance and the Service Unit containing wearing and pressurized parts can be replaced as a whole. It is recommended to check the operation of the device and the unobstructed drainage of condensate regularly. The operation can be tested with the TEST button. Maintenance and repair work is carried out on a depressurized and de-energized device in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
Warranty
The manufacturer's warranty is 24 months. The warranty covers material and manufacturing defects and requires proper installation, use and maintenance of the product in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
